This is Elmer. He can be found just about every morning, sitting in the park across the street from the little strip mall on 3rd street. He has his routine he likes to stick to - feed the pigeons, read the morning paper and then do the daily Sudoku puzzle. Once his puzzle is finished, he strolls across the street to Cheap Joe's diner for a hearty breakfast. Life is good for Elmer.
"The Pigeon Feeder" comes with Elmer, the park bench, six pigeons, some loose bread pieces, an opened loaf of bread, newspaper, and hat perched on the corner of the bench. Pieces are not attached to each other, so they can be rearranged to your liking. My people are not posable. People are made of Prosculpt© polymer clay, with Kato© and Premo© clays used on their clothing and hair. Everything is hand made, with no molds used. They have foil armatures for durability. Additional coloring is done with Genesis© heat set paints. Their clothing is made using my own technique for realistic, fabric-like clothes. Their clay hair is styled to suit each individual.
Most of the accessories are made of clay, with some additional materials used as needed. Bench is made of wood and clay, pigeons are clay with tiny wire feet, loaf of bread has a tiny plastic wrapper around it. Newspaper is made of paper, and pencil in Elmer's pocket is part of a toothpick, shaped and painted. This setting will come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity, in it's own protective sleeve.
Please remember, these are not toys and not intended for children. They are tiny little pieces of sculpted artwork, to be collected and displayed.
