What could be better than a sunny spring day, an empty sidewalk and a jumprope? Nothing that these four little girls can think of. They've found a perfect spot for their favorite outdoor activity. The sidewalk is nice and smooth right in front of the duplex and they can even hear the piano in Mrs. Mueller's apartment. They know Alexis is up there having her piano lesson, but as soon as she's finished, she'll be down to join them!
Sasha is the youngest of the group, but can jump rope as good as the others, especially when she's wearing her favorite pink flowered skorts. Abby is up next and is anxiously waiting for her turn. Ginger almost likes turning the rope more than jumping, but not so for Alison. She has brand new Keds tennis shoes on and can't wait to see how well they work for jumping!
This scene is 1:12 scale, to fit in a scale dollhouse, shadowbox or room box. Girls are approximately 4 inches tall, Sasha a little less. All are made of polymer clay, with foil armatures, using no molds. Their clothing and shoes are also clay, as is their hair, styled to suit each individual. Jump rope is coated wire with clay handles.
These are not toys and are not intended for children or to be played with. They are hand sculpted, miniature pieces of art, to be collected and displayed. The Jump Rope Girls will come with a signed and dated certificate of authenticity, in it's own protective pouch.
